St. Thomas

Wow, how time flies. I know this post is super late but things have gotten... a little crazy... to say the least. But I'm finally getting to it!

Over the summer I was nervous about not getting a chance to spend some quality time with the boys before the new baby came. Last year, we went to Puerto Rico and I wanted to see something new, so we decided on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. MTV came along for the trip and here is my take on the island!

Cons: Island time x10... meaning everything seems to move extremely slow.
We booked semi "last minute" so EVERY place was booked... not sure if it was just our hotel or every hotel but it was pretty far from all the beaches and good dining.

Pros: BEAUTIFUL beaches. Aside from Hawaii, I think these are some of the prettiest beaches I've seen.
The people are soooooo nice and accommodating.
There is so much history on the island, that is interesting for both adults and children... like the Pirate's Museum. The pirate here, looks just like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean... Was so cool to see how well he plays his part, lol!

Two MUST GO to beaches:
Coki Beach - On site food, drinks, snorkel renting, super cool "rock wall" where there are a ton of wild iguanas... look but don't touch lol, pictured below.
Lindquist Beach (There was a fee to get into this one but it was well worth it.) Very quiet & clean. Clean bathrooms and shower for afterwards.

Overall, it was a great trip to spend time with Isaac and Linc and I'm glad we were able to experience a new place this year!
